Director and Coach

Candida is a coach, entrepreneur, facilitator, somatic movement practitioner and forest bathing guide.

For over 30 years she has been a certified coach where she works in an organic and emergent fashion based on the way the client wants to work:bringing in embodied presence, somatic awareness, constellations, NLP and other creative forms. She takes an ecological stance.

Candida has also been an entrepreneur: co-founding Metro Safety Group (a group with turnover of over £10m where she was Director or Chair for over 25years variously overseeing HR, organisational development, learning, operations and IT, organisational development), the community hub, Flo’s –The Place in the Park, and UKNAR CIC. She has worked with charities(working as policy advisor and trainer for Oxfam for 10 years, and chairing organisations such as Film Oxford, Oxford Urban Wildlife Group and OxfordHR, and on the board of INTRAC). She is also a published editor on Social Relations.

Candida is trained in Executive Coaching, Systemic Coaching & Constellations,Leadership Development Framework, NLP, Move into Life, Meyers Briggs TypeIndicator, Group Dynamics and Body Mind Attunement. She has the foundation for Dance Movement Therapy, Group Analysis and ForestBathing. She is a published editor for books on gender and social relations.

She has been a somatic movement practitioner for over 30 years as well, practising connection with the natural world. Over time, the practice uses movement as a non-judgemental way of exploring our lives and relationship to ourselves, our bodies, others and our environment. She also leads Forest Bathing sessions, offering a series of invitations to experience connection with nature through our senses, slowing down and relaxing, bringing better physical and mental wellbeing.

Candida lives in East Oxford, having first moved to Oxford when she was 19.
