Nurtured by Nature Workshops

A Year-Long Workshops Series starting December 2026

Step into a slower pace and rediscover the wisdom held within the turning of the seasons.Inspired by the Celtic festivals, Nurtured by Nature’s Seasons is a year-long journey of eight immersive workshops exploring traditional plant knowledge, seasonal crafts and nature connection. 

Together, we will walk, create, reflect and reconnect - deepening our relationship with the plants, the land and ourselves. Each workshop is a small, intimate gathering of up to 10 participants, held on a Saturday afternoon (12–4pm) at the beautiful Barracks Lane Community Garden in East Oxford.

What Awaits You

Each workshop offers space to pause, learn and create through:

  • Guided nature connection walks

  • Seasonal herbal tea meditation

  • Botanical making - including balms, tinctures, crafts and edible creations

  • Shared seasonal refreshments

  • Circle sharing, reflection and reconnection

These workshops are facilitated by Usha Waygood, founder of Artemisia Kin and co-Director of The Nature Effect.Through Artemisia Kin’s seasonal workshops and retreats, Usha creates opportunities to reconnect with plants, place and community through creativity, ecological learning and nature connection. A percentage of workshop income supports The Nature Effect’s community projects, creating opportunities for people to connect with nature, strengthen community, enhance wellbeing with care for the environment.
